When you are on top of the world there are those that want to be like you and others who want to tear you down. Welcome to the world of Damien and Nikki Stark. Ms. Kenner keeps the thrill alive with this latest book giving the readers more of a glimpse into the fabulous life of the Starks but all is not as it seems. The writing flows as if there is a gray cloud shrouding the Stark family and who knows what will transpire. There is a lot to be grateful for with Nikki moving her company into a new facility but at what cost? Damien has told Nikki that he would no longer keep secrets but is that really the truth? If you have not read the Stark series then you want to grab it and begin immediately as this is not a standalone; you will be very glad you did. I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.

I could read about these two forever! Ms. Kenner does such a great job of taking these two that have so much passion and heat and give them a life after their happily ever after. Not everyone rides into the sunset. Marriage is hard and there are many things that a couple have to go through. I love that we get to experience this with Nikki and Damien. This couple continues to burn up the pages and yet their love is growing more mature and more solid. I love that they have to work at their marriage like everyone else. This book brings together a lot of different players in the Stark universe which was awesome to see them all interact. I could read books in this world for a long time to come, so keep writing them! Love it!

Oh my goodness...what a thrilling ride. I did not see any of that coming. I was so glad to hear from Lyle, Evelyn, Sylvia and Jackson, Abby, Jamie and Ryan, Charles, Dallas and Jane, and unfortunately...Sofia. I'm so glad they made it in this book. It wouldn't feel right if they weren't a part of this story. And what an amazing story it was. I was absolutely enthralled. It was entertaining. It was captivating. I had my interest blown away. Though my only downfall was the fact that Damien and Nikki had an intimate moment during a very trying time. I don't think I'd have been able to "perform" under that kind of pressure. I don't want to give specifics. I don't want to give anything away. Just know that something went on. And it was exciting.

Dear lord, I’ve been following the love affair between Damien Stark and Nikki Fairchild from the very beginning of their romance. Their love, their connection, their relationship—unbreakable. Full length novel!!! Damien and Nikki are back and full of more drama than ever before! Their family stays strong through all the tough times. I love that they fall part but always come back to each other. Damien loves so hard and wants to protect, but Nikki doesn’t need protected. She is one of the strongest characters. She does end up doing something she hasn’t done in a long time, but Damien is there to pick up all the pieces. Their family is faced with one of the hardest situations yet. I think you could feel this coming due to Damien Starks powerful world he runs. But you just never dream it will happen to them due to the security around the Stark family. It really just keeps adding more love for them and seeing how much love one family has for each other. It also shows how many people love them and will go to whatever lengths to help them. Love how all the characters of the series show up to support them!!! If you haven’t started drooling over Damien stark, you need to go get this book today and start!! I love spending time with Nikki and Damien. They have a combustible, sexy relationship and now parenthood lets me see the softer side to Damien. Getting to experience how they navigate work and family responsibilities while still keeping their passion alive is fabulous. Their girls, Lara and Anne are wonderful and a great balance for this couple. Of course, being who they are with a spotlight on them from their success puts other challenges in their life. We get to experience every high and every low as they navigate married life and parenthood. I love the honesty of their emotions and the daily struggles they both face.

Nikki and Damien Stark are back! They have the perfect life. They have the love for each other and their beautiful kids. Damien would give Nikki the world and Nikki would do anything for Damien. Then this happens and no parent should ever have to go through. Can they come back after their demons have tried to take over? Once again you start this Nikki and Damien book there is no putting it down. This story has so many ups and downs. Emotional is not even a strong enough word to describe this book.

As always J Kenner’s writing brings out every emotion and blows me away. Boy have I missed the Stark’s...is it January yet??? I can’t wait for the release of Damien. “I turn and walk toward the door, half-afraid he’s going to follow me, and then a little bit disappointed when he doesn’t.” What happens when the other half of your soul has lingering secrets yet demands complete honesty from you? What happens when those secrets and lies may end up being the catalyst to your biggest fear...putting your loved ones in harm's way? “We need to burn away the fear. To push through the dark shadows. We won’t survive this without each other, and we both need to take and take and give.” This book had me laughing, crying, holding my breath, frustrated, curling my toes and wanting to rejoice. I was a big mess of emotions and I wouldn’t want it any other way when it comes to a J Kenner book...she brings the intensity and holds nothing back for her readers. “This is what I need. This is what I crave. This claiming. This heat.”

Well, I for one simply can’t get enough of Damien and Nikki Stark!! They are just so sexy and their love is so huge. I love the way they are with their little girls but how they still haven’t lost their edgy sex life. This adventure in the lives of one of my fave book couples, is probably one of the most difficult yet for them to endure. It tests them for sure. They go through something no parent should ever have to go through. Is there anything their love and their unbreakable bond can’t get them through? I don’t think so! I am so looking forward to “Damien”, especially after that small teaser at the end. Another amazing Stark story !!
