For the woman who’s his perfect match, he’s willing to break the rules…

The moment Brand Berry meets beautiful, driven Sahara Silver, the connection between them is electric. It’s also something he can’t pursue. Sahara wants him, sure—to join Body Armor, where his MMA skills, size and cocky attitude make him perfect for her elite crew of bodyguards. For Sahara, the agency always comes first, and Brand needs more. Yet when she’s kidnapped by men searching for her missing brother, he doesn’t hesitate.

Somewhere along the way, flirting with Brand for the sake of business turned very personal. Despite his refusal to join Body Armor, it’s Brand who steps up when Sahara needs him most. Now there’s no more time for games, and no point denying the hunger they both feel. They’ll escape together or not at all. But if they survive, can Sahara finally surrender control to claim this blazing passion?

This was an amazing read!!! I’ve always loved Sahara’s character. She’s sassy, strong, and knows a great business move when she sees one. Brand is perfect for her. She can have her vulnerable moments with him (not that she gives him much) and she can just be herself. The twists and turns in this story had me on the edge of my seat. I think this is the first story I’ve read where I was completely torn on how I should feel about the “villain”. There was one area of the story that didn’t quite wrap up, so I’m hoping we may get at least one future book in this series that wraps it up. A fantastic read that will draw you in and keep you there!

Wonderful read, as always. We are privy to the love developing between Sahara and Brand...an amazing couple. We finally find out what truly happened to Sahara’s brother, Scott. And the body guards from the security agency, Body Armor, from previous books are integrally involved in this final book along with their significant others. Couldn’t have asked for a better read!

I received an advanced copy of this book (Fast Burn by Lori Foster) for my honest opinion and that's what you're going to get. Brand & Sahara....Brand & Sahara. This series ends on such a high note with you two hot, sexy, messes. Sahara, how I wish I could hate you for your style, beauty, and fearlessness. I can’t though because beneath it all you’re just the same as the rest of us - wanting to fit in, be welcomed, be loved, and be noticed by those that matter most to you. Brand, you sexy, endearing, forgivable dolt. You just prove that men can be hot messes just as much as women! Lori Foster always makes me fall in love with her characters because they’re so...REAL! There’s none of this “everyone’s a millionaire” or “all the women are size 2s and 5’10’” stuff. More than that though, she’s so freakin good at character development! Honestly, just when I think Foster can’t get any better, she pulls another one out and I’m 100% invested in hijinx, romance, intrigue, and sexy times that somehow supersede the last! Sahara and Brand prove that each of them are both intelligent and strong. They prove that no one needs to take over the other when you each respect and love one another for who you are. Foster very subtly addresses a very real life scenario - without insecurities it’s so much easier to let go and just love. This book was bittersweet for me, though, and I’ll tell you why. Have you ever finished a TV series like ER or Gray’s Anatomy and just cried at the end because you knew...there’s no going back? Everyone’s story has been told. While all of her books are strong enough to stand alone, these characters started way back with Rowdy Yates in Getting Rowdy. Since then, she’s moved me to Kentucky, I’ve becoming a regular at the bar, and now I’m lost as to what to do on my weekends without my SBC pals. I guess I’ll just have to pick the books up and start all over again as I do, repeatedly, with her Buckhorn books. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Brand and Sahara!!!!! What a story!!!! The previous stories has been leading up to their story and this book doesn’t disappoint. It takes off right from the start with Sahara getting kidnapped. It only gets more interesting and chaotic as it goes along. You have a story that has been on going and an alpha male/female fighting to see who comes out on top. They have chemistry that is off the charts. I couldn’t put this book down and I was/am sad when it ended because it’s the last of a long intertwining series. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
  • Aptly named because Brand and Sahara burn it up....hard and fast

If you've read any of the other Body Armor books, you know going into this one that it's guaranteed to sizzle, with big tough Brand and fiery wicked smart Sahara thrown together in a steamy fast-paced suspenseful collision course to the end. This one is aptly named because these to really burn it up. And, like all things Sahara she weighs in and decides quickly to act instead of react. She's no pushover. And of course when Brand is in, it's a throw down to the finish. If there's one thing he knows how to do it's fight. And what woman wouldn't want him fighting for her and love her. Lori Foster does not disappoint in this latest addition to the Body Armor series. ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.
