About 80% of what we perceive comes through our eyes. Eighty percent of our memories are made by images. About half of our brain is involved in the seeing process.

The eye gate is the lamp of a parent’s life. If your eyes are full of healthy and uplifting images, your whole life will be illuminated.

If your eyes are filled with negative and unhealthy images, then the level of darkness in your life is based on the amount of visual access you have allowed to enter through your eye gate.

The battle for gaining access to your mind is real. Take a look around your home and your community. The visuals that are already in place were put there by someone with the intentions of gaining access to your eye gate for slowing you down or for empowering your family.

The pictures you have in your home are gaining access to your child’s mind. What messages are being communicated non-verbally to your family right now from the visuals you have given permission to enter your home?

Whatever your fascination is with the media, your eyes will magnetically be drawn to it. Parents are responsible for keeping the eyes full of light. Giving unlimited access to everything without censorship is deadly and eventually will interfere with how you see your world, your self, and your child.
