This short story was originally included in an anthology published by Whiskey Creek Press. Eli Ryan is the eldest child of Matt and Molly from The Wren. There’s also an introduction to Lucas Blackmore, eldest son of Nathan and Emma from The Sparrow. (He also appears in The Nighthawk as a side character.)
