Description

Dante is Chapter Master of one of the noblest but most troubled Chapters of Space Marines in the Imperium: the Blood Angels. From the time of his birth in the rad-scarred wastes of Baal Secundus, he was destined for glory and strife. From his apotheosis to Scout, to the hive cities of Armageddon and the alien menace of the Cryptus system, Dante has waged war against all the enemies of the Imperium. He has witnessed the divine, and struggled against the darkness within all sons of Sanguinius. Longer lived than any other Chapter Master, this is his chronicle, his great and storied legend.

I have only just begun reading Warhammer books, (probably 12 or so) but this one is by far my favorite so far. The author is great at describing the characters and their actions. Pick this one up for sure.

Really phenomenal story, kind of enders game crossed with 40k, I normally read ultra marines but this makes me want to go buy a Dante model and start painting!

Excellent book detailing Dante’s past, his becoming a Blood Angel, and his history with the chapter and the others who lead it.

Ok, I will start with the part where I loved the book. I have always loved Dante and this book showed me the part to him I never knew. It honestly feels like a primarch book. The endings are sad yet hopeful. You get to read about Dante as a child through him becoming a captain. On the flip side you also read about old man Dante and his struggle to find hope in the galaxy. I found the most joy reading about him as a youth. It was cool to see Dante as merely human. It was also cool that they introduced plenty of new characters to keep it fresh. Over all that’s going to be a “yes” from me chief.
