Lena Wise is always looking forward to tomorrow, especially at the start of her senior year.

She’s ready to pack in as much friend time as possible, to finish college applications and to maybe let her childhood best friend Sebastian know how she really feels about him. The upcoming year is going to be epic—one of opportunities and chances. Until one choice, one moment, destroys everything.

Now Lena isn’t looking forward to tomorrow. Not when friend time may never be the same. Not when college applications feel all but impossible. Not when Sebastian might never forgive her for what happened.

For what she let happen.

Lena knows that her only hope is to move on. But how can she move on when her entire existence has been redefined? How can she move on when tomorrow isn’t even guaranteed?

  • A Wonderfully Written Book!

4.5☆ Well that was an emotion filled book! I wasn't expecting the book to go the route it did; that was a bit of a shocker to me. If There's No Tomorrow is written so well. The way that JLA packs this book with so much emotion and heart is wonderful. I could really see the psychology side of her come out with all the repercussions of the incident and all the advice given to the characters. She was able to weave multiple morals into the story on top of it. Lena goes through so much in this book, but I enjoyed reading about how she viewed and thought of everything after what she went through. I felt for her every step of the way and wanted her to come out on top and find a way to be happy. Sebastian is such a good guy. He can be a goof ball, but yet really sweet and caring. I love his relationship with Lena and how it changes throughout the course of the book and with everything going on around them. It was a wonderful book to read, I wish it could have kept going!
  • Must Read YA For All Ages

As with all Jennifer L Armentrout books, If There's No Tomorrow was a book I couldn't put down. The main character, Lena, has a lot of issues to deal with throughout the book. She describes herself as an average 17 year old girl. Shes loves to read, she's on the volleyball team, and she's working very hard to get early acceptance to the school of her choice. But, Lena makes a choice one night that not only affects her, its affects everyone around her. "I was a runner, too, and not the healthy kind. When things got too rough, I checked out, just like Dad had. I made an art form of looking toward tomorrow instead of focusing on today." Lena's friendships are ultimately put to the test after her life altering choice. It's easy to let some things fall apart after a tragedy occurs. Lena's friends try to help her come to terms and cope with her decisions but she pushes them away. Sebastian has been Lena's friend since they were eight year old. They have been in love with each other for just as long but neither one has wanted to admit their feelings. Sebastian stands up to Lena and will not let her retreat into herself. Sebastian is swoon-worthy like many of JLA's other male leads. "None of us are promised a tomorrow...We don't always get a later." This book is beautifully written. The subject matter is something important that needs to be talked about. While this is geared towards YA, what happens in ITNT, hits the mark. It shows how one choice can alter your life immensely. How we can take our lives and safety of others around us for granted. This book was spot on with the social media aspect too. It shows that people are quick to be the judge and jury of someone's choice. Lena has a very difficult time overcoming what she thinks everyone else is thinking about her. Her character does a lot of growing and changing in this book. I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars. This book will stick with me for a very long time.

I absolutely loved this book!! I received the ARC at BookCon in NYC this year and am so glad I did!! It was very well written. I fell in love with the characters immediately! I couldn't put it down, and want to read it again and again! I have read other books by JLA and she never disappoints! I hope there is a sequel to this book-the next phase of Sebastian and Lena! I look forward to more novels by JLA. This is a must read-you won't be disappointed!
