  • An excellent read, and I'm not even into Marvel!

Despite being a professional cartoonist, I've never personally been into comic books much unless they were about a character that really interested me. And I've never really had much interest in Marvel titles. But I first saw this as a poster in a local store and was so intrigued that I just had to flip through an issue ...and instantly fell in love with it to the point that I immediately purchased this digital collection of the first six stories and plan on buying physical copies. I really don't want to give anything away as I don't want to spoil it, but let me just say that this is one of the most enjoyable publications I've encountered in ages! Moon Girl has lots of personality and is easy to relate to, but she is nearly upstaged by Devil Dinosaur himself, who is drawn fairly realistically yet with spectacular expressions rare in a Marvel story, published or otherwise. And the two have excellent chemistry! And as for who she's up against? Well, let's just say with a laugh that they manage to not look the LEAST out of place in New York City! An excellent read for all ages, highly recommended! Since Disney/Marvel have been going berzerk with movies lately, I'm actually eagerly awaiting now to see if this is made into a movie as quickly as possible - and, if so, hopefully isn't ruined in the transition.
