Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is considered one of the very best examples of literary nonsense and has influenced popular culture through movies, plays and art. It was written in 1865 by English author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll and richly illustrated by John Tenniel.
